Following the events of this weekend I would like to share with you episode 1 of WHO POLICES THE POLICE featuring @TheRealGhetts @TheRealDvs @MicRighteous @LogicArmy
*** A weekend of madness for londoners as a raged community lash out and start riots. This has all started following the death of Mark Duggan, 29 who was shot by police on Thursday, 28th July 2011.
In 3 days (Saturday to Monday) there has been 215 arrests, 27 charged and 35 officers injured
Tottenham, Enfield, Wood Green, Edmonton, Hackney, Peckam, Lewisham, Brixton, Ilford, Walthamstow, Waltham cross, Stratford… Few more but not yet comfirmed.
A current total cost of £7,050,000 - £10,400,00 so far has been caused in damages & a total of 1,350+ jobs lost.
** My view on this… I think that AFTER the Tottenham riot it wasn’t about Mark anymore and I feel that people have been USING Mark’s tragic death as an excuse to get this going when infact it just triggered off everyones anger towards the police and system (the goverment)… It’s not just black people kicking off its everyone, we’re fed up of the way we live, the goverment and banks put us in a recession then they up VAT to 2% as if to say it was OUR fault the banks messed up. Goverment and police force have themselves to blame… How can you shut down youth activities which forces them to do nothing but badness, after all youth groups were there to take them off the streets and then have the nerve to label them as “Asbo Kids”
